Your massage will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music will be played to help you relax. You will lie on the massage table covered by a soft sheet and blanket. You will be properly draped during the entire session. Your therapist will leave the room while you undress, relax on the table, and cover up. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. A full body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, neck, shoulders, scalp and face unless you prefer focus to particular areas. Ex. Neck and back.
Open communication is encouraged. Please notify your therapist if you prefer more or less pressure at any time, if you are experiencing any discomfort, or if the temperature is to warm or cold.
It is dependent upon each persons circumstance. Some clients enjoy a few massages a year, while others benefit from more frequent massages, especially when dealing with stress or a chronic issue. We can discuss a plan based on your needs at the time of service.
You should feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Take your time sitting up before getting off the massage table you may feel lightheaded due to the decrease in blood pressure. You may also notice some muscle soreness. This is normal and is caused by lactic acid flooding your system during the massage and can be alleviated drinking water to flush it out of your body. Some folks find soaking in an Epsom salt bath helpful to reduce soreness, especially after a deep tissue massage.
You can pay using cash, credit or debit card, apple pay or by check.
